Where to Put the Stickers On A Hockey Helmet?
The location of decals and stickers on a hockey helmet is strategically regulated because it matters and the location could affect the integrity of the helmet. It’s required that every helmet includes a sticker certifying that the helmet meets safety regulations. If you decide you would like to apply additional stickers, you have to ensure that it doesn’t cover the certification sticker and doesn’t compromise the helmet’s integrity.
Certification Stickers
The stickers proving that a helmet meets certification requirements must not be hidden. You cannot place any stickers over this required sticker. As of 2013, the sticker must also include an expiration date, so that the helmet can be removed from service once this date is met. It’s best to know when your helmet needs to be replaced – make sure to pay attention to this date.
Other Stickers
If you would like to make your helmet unique, you can add other types of sticker, as long as you’re careful about where you apply them.
Over the Brand Logo
If there’s a brand logo or other old and unimportant sticker already on your helmet, then you can choose to apply a new sticker over it.
Behind the Ear
You may also add the creative sticker right behind the ear piece for its maximum visibility.
At the Front
If there’s room on the front of the helmet, you can place a sticker there, as long as it doesn’t affect the way the helmet rests on your head. It should be located far enough from your head and if there’s enough space at the front.
On the Back
Another exciting place to put stickers on a hockey helmet is on the back, just above your neck. Amazing decals are available that look great on the back of hockey helmets. You may also add a sticker at the back of the head, as long as there aren’t any air holes.
Above all, you can also get customized hockey helmet decals that will be placed on the helmets based on your choice of location- back, front, or sides.
